Mortfying Mondays: Marshmallow Edition

Well, let's start the week off with a classic, shall we? I mean, its not just any day that a certain somebody associates "Kiss" with "Smooth" in Apples to Apples. In fact, I think it actually was a Monday. Or a Tuesday. Maybe a Tuesday.

Regardless, if there's one thing Melody will probably never live down, its her fantastic choice of words in a game where everybody can see what is directly on her mind at some point or another. Good times.

Good times.

Mortifying Mondays

Future Self,

This isn't so much for me as it is for you other people that read this. Starting this week, probably updated on a bi-weekly, tri-weekly or monthly basis, we're bringing you Mortifying Mondays, which sets out with the only purpose of telling humiliating stories of my siblings when they were kids. What's that? Humiliating stories about me? Of course not. There's a line here, people. I'm not a monster.

So, who do we start with? Well, that's up to you guys. Tell  me who you'd like to see humilated and I will see if I can dig up something for next time.

Until then, happy Mortifying Monday.

Incoming Wall of Text

Dear Future Self,

First off: Creepy horror movie ghost girl Megan

Had to post it after Mel and I found it the other day. Props to Mackenzie. I think.

Now, back to business.

This week has been boring. And tiring. And boring. For the sake of time, this was week September 10th through September 12th, which really is only two days but no one really cares.

Anyhow, Calculus II had the first test on Monday. Boy, was that a dismal failure. For future reference, never split across a derivative between the product of two factors. That's just wrong and you knew it when you did it. Time was also kind of a factor too. You should start thinking of these ahead of time.

Not much happened at school this week either. This was the week you had to start taking the bus, mind you, so there's a strict schedule that goes into that. No breaks, no cafeteria visits, and no meeting anyone whatsoever. In and out. Not the best of things to do.

So, today is Wednesday, September 12th. You've got a computer program and two English papers due next week, and you probably shouldn't forget that. Also whatever's due for History. Online classes are really hard to keep up with this year, aren't they? Tomorrow should be the reveal of the WiiU. I'm not sure if it will succeed or fail. You'll probably know better than I would.

Oh, right, the questions from last time.

  • Gym initiation. What goes on in there, exactly? And why is it scheduled for an ungodly 9:00 AM in the morning?

Well, the good news is that after weeks of putting it off I went to one this Monday at 4:00 PM, which wasn't so bad of a time. What was bad was how unbearingly boring it was. Imagine an old lady going around and showing you how every single machine works even though they're based on a simple leverage system. Well, don't imagine because that's exactly what it was. If you do have to ever take it again for some reason, just slip out as soon as you sign that orange slip thing. That gets you into the database which is the only reason you'd want to show up in the first place.

  • Calculus II. How's that treating you? Tearing you apart already?

Well, I already wrote something about that above. Suffice to say, not doing all too well at the moment. Pay more attention to homework, blah blah blah. I know what to do, but getting myself to do it is harder than it would seem.
  • Why do we drive on a parkway and park on top of that poor pedestrian you ran over?

The key to getting away with roadkill is hiding the body. Your car is larger than the average human body and if you position yourself right can hide it from being seen by anyone else. It is also probably conveniently placed right on top of the body anyways, so you don't have to do anything! Laziness is always an upside to this sort of thing.
  • I don't know about then, but right now this layout kind of sucks. Creating a custom skin and redesigning the place might take a lot of work, but have you at least changed the font/colors or something?

    Nope.
Well, I guess I have some questions for you, as usual. Probably will keep doing the little update thing until the next big post, though.

  • Has Mr. Ebersohl gotten around to grading the tests yet? I sort of was guessing a month, but I don't know if it actually would be around that time. For reference, Monday, September 12th 2012.
  • Did you end up getting Hyrule Historia? Halo 4? A Wacom tablet? A box of Sprite?
  • Was the week you just went through any more interesting than the one that went by just now?
And that's all for today. I need to start updating more. Sort of like a Twitter Feed thing. Maybe I should take a page out of Olivia's book and do a weekly "Embarrassing Facts About Melody" thing. Wouldn't that be interesting? And kind of harsh and mean-spirited, but still, interesting?
